Use solar energy

In this modern world of technology, we need energy in different forms to do our work easily. We need these energy resources to produce electricity, to fuel our cars and for almost every type of work. There are two major sources of energy. One is renewable and other is non renewable. Non Renewable resources of energy are oil, gas, coal etc and renewable energy resources include wave power, solar energy, wind power etc. our non renewable resources of energy are getting less day by day, due to which it has become important for us, to find out ways for using renewable resources in an efficient way.

In recent years, much of the research has been done to use solar energy for different purposes. In this we basically use sunlight as a source of energy. This energy can be used to produce electricity, to run our cars and for many other purposes. This is very cheap except for the initial investment and everyone can use it. Nowadays car companies are designing cars that make use of the solar energy rather than petrol or gas. These cars are also good for environment as they do not create any pollution. The energy from sunlight can also be used to make saline water potable. It can also be used in heating, cooling and ventilation technologies.

The people are now using solar energy to produce electricity for their homes or offices. Solar energy advantages are that, it is cheap as you don’t have to pay for sunlight but the initial investment is little bit expensive. The best part is you don’t have to pay big bills for electricity. It is also good for people who live in countries where there is shortage of electricity and they have to face problems like load shedding.

The first thing that you will have to do in order to generate electricity through sunlight is to buy solar panels. This is a device that collects the solar radiations from sun and converts it into electrical energy. It is composed of several individual solar cells. The output of electricity from the solar panel depends on the quality and the quantity of solar cells used. They work in the same manner as large semiconductors.

Many solar energy companies are now working to use this renewable form of energy in an efficient way and to make it available to everyone.

We statred a company called Zipcar around 11 years ago. Today there are over 530,000 people using the service. Zipcar provides a fleet of vehicles for the use of the membership on an hourly or daily basis. You can rent a car for as little as an hour for around $8 or so.The great thing from the point of view of the environment, is that people who switch from using a personal car to using a shared vehicle like Zipcar drive much much less. Because they must now pay the full cost of an hour for each hour of use, they choose alternative forms of transportation (walk, bike, bus, train), combine trips, etc. The net CO2 emission reduction due to Zipcar is now over 1 million tons per year. That’s equivalent to about 1 week worth of all of NYC emissions, or around 0.02% of all US emissions. Its a start.

Fact: Burning mtehane is a good idea, it is in itself a potent greenhouse gas – 25 times worse than CO2; does not hang around for very long, 50 years or so vs 200 years for CO2, but we don’t have 50 years. This is misleading. When combusted, CH4 produces CO2. CO2 does not disappear from the flux in 200 years. The long tail of CO2 means that about 7% of the CO2 being emitted as I type these lines will still be moving between the various atmospheric, marine and terrestrial sinks 50kyr from now. Silicate weathering and other processes will eventually remove it, but these are very slow indeed. That’s the main reason that atmospheric and marine inventories are increasing. The sinks themselves are not yet saturated of course, and that’s a good thing but they are a finite resource and we aren’t exactly clear how long they will continue to absorb at their current rate. In the meantime, as is widely known, the seas are becoming less basic and this is having consequences for phytoplankton, coccolithophores etc … not good.It is true that combusting mtehane as an alternative to harvesting and combusting coal is relatively rational. That’s not the same as saying that it is adequate in the long run — especially if this mtehane is mtehane that would have remained (or could have remained) in the ground if we hadn’t dug it up and burned it.So combusting mtehane from landfills or gassy mines (that we are determined must operate anyway) or other decomposing matter — great. Methane from fracking? Horrible.

I usually do not write a lot of responses, however I glanced through some responses on this page Use solar energy | Eco Gaia News. I actually do have a couple of questions for you if you do not mind. Is it only me or does it give the impression like some of the comments come across as if they are coming from brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting on additional sites, I’d like to follow you. Could you list of the complete urls of your shared sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?

Undeniably imagine that that you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the web the simplest thing to take into account of. I say to you, I definitely get irked at the same time as folks consider worries that they just do not understand about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top well and also outlined out the whole thing with no need side effect , other folks can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks

How could rewlnabee energy sources be used to meet a household’s needs?Consider the following issues:What rewlnabee sources of energy are available?Which sources could be used to supply a household’s needs? How could each source be used?Where would the home have to be located to use each source? What equipment would be needed? Where would this equipment be located? What backup systems should be included? For all you smart people out there, please answer all of these questions!
